I’m here to help tired moms and those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) regain their energy and vitality. My mission is to share tips, tricks, and encouragement, and to offer facilitated programs so you can raise healthy, happy families.
My Journey
Growing up, I faced numerous health challenges: allergies, chronic constipation, migraines, ADHD, and CFS. I spent countless hours and dollars in doctors’ offices, only to hear that my issues were “normal.” But I refused to accept that life had to be this way.
At 23, my health problems began to affect my marriage and overall quality of life. Exhaustion, frequent colds, and digestive pain became constant companions. My turning point came when, in sheer desperation, I prayed for wisdom and answers. I realized I needed to address the root causes of my health issues rather than just treating the symptoms.
Discovering Better Health
A series of small changes began to make a big difference. Adding butternut squash to my meals and embracing meat-free Mondays were initial steps. A friend introduced me to daily smoothies, which led to a significant improvement in my digestion and overall health. Inspired, I read “Perfect Health the Natural Way” by Mary-Ann Shearer and made comprehensive lifestyle and dietary changes.
The results were astounding: I had more energy, my chronic health issues faded, and I no longer needed medications, including my asthma inhaler. This transformation came just in time for a healthy pregnancy.
A New Mission
Motherhood presented new challenges, including a post-partum slump after my second child. By reapplying the health principles I had learned, I regained my energy and strength. This experience fueled my desire to help other moms reclaim their health. I became a Whole World Well facilitator, having successfully followed their programs myself.
Simplify, Optimize, Systemize
I learned to simplify, optimize, and systemize my approach to health to manage the demands of mom-life. I believe that much of our health lies in the daily decisions we make about what we put into our bodies. Our bodies are designed to thrive on good nutrition and exercise, and by making informed choices, we can achieve our God-given health potential.
My Commitment
With ten years of personal experience and three years as a Whole World Well facilitator, I am dedicated to helping moms with CFS, exhaustion, and burnout implement simple steps to gain more energy. We are wonderfully made, and our bodies thrive on good nutrients and exercise. I believe that by taking care of ourselves, we can better take care of our families and be fully present in their lives.
